My Top 3 Autumn Trends // 2018

Look 1# For this look, I have chosen to wear my over the knee booties from Missguided, my burgundy New Look skirt (similar), ChicNYC black tee, my new Primark checked longline coat and my trusty vintage £3 charity shop satchel.

Being almost 18, and seeing tonnes of bloggers wear more heels with their outfits, I’ve become really fond of creating more chic, girly styles. Heels will always be a huge trend, be adventurous!! I still love my casual trainers look, no doubt! But seeing as autumn is already with us, I feel the chic stylish looks are really going to come out this year, so I chose to wear my gorgeous over the knee booties that really flatter my long legs. I would wear this outfit more for some evening drinks or a meal, but dressed down, the boots could be swapped for some tights and black shoes for a more casual look. Overall, this look was a real hit (especially on the gram)!

Look 2# Animal print was and still is a huge trend this year, most significantly, in the last month. I have had this coat from New Look for some time now, but it never fails to impress as this look had many complements! The coat being the centre piece (similar and likely to sell out, so be QUICK!), I styled this look with my Topshop Jamie jeans, Dorothy Perkins gold buckle belt, H&M cable knit jumper, New Look patent Chelsea boots (similar), my £3 bag and of course my most favourite hat – the Primark check baker boy hat (similar)! This look is a great daytime look and with this kind of coat, a structured, almost tighter boot to the ankle looks perfect in my opinion, as the coat does all the talking but the legs still look beautifully proportioned!

Look 3# This final look for todays look book features my new Tesco F&F check wide leg trousers, Pull & Bear trainers, H&M cable knit jumper, Daniel Wellington watch, Fiorelli backpack (similar), ASOS gold necklace (similar) and H&M earrings (similar). This outfit is SUPER comfy. I have recently been quite impressed with Tesco F&F’s clothing from their autumn collection, so I couldn’t resist snatching this gorgeous pair of trousers which were ONLY £16… Little tortoiseshell buttons run along side the hip frame and the stretchy, almost knitted fabric gives a super comfy yet trending style this autumn! I have not stopped wearing my Pull & Bear trainers ever since I bought them in Venice over the summer hols. The red detailing is versatile all year round and made the black and red check pattern stand out even more for this particular look (plus, check will NEVER grow old on me. I’m obsessed). I have also loved wearing my cosy knits so far this season!

As you may be aware, I have also teamed this outfit with my mums black heels from Next, which also give a super feminine, chic touch to this relaxed outfit in particular. I cannot find the exact pair online, but I would also wear a pair of simple, classic black courts (here, these also have a snake pattern which is part of the animal print trend! woohoo!). As previously said, I’m really admiring the power of heels as well. Rapidly approaching 18, I’m finding so many more excuses to wearing heels with my jeans, skirts, trousers etc etc and I’m LOVING it..
